Sheer Mediocrity

Wait, I thought we already went into the mediocrity topic. But hey, I guess you never read that one. So...


Yes, I'm sorry, I am harshly judgemental. Anyway, back to mediocrity. Why speak of it? Because, at some point of rather, we are very mediocre people, you know. How do we know? Simple. By accusing others of falling into the same pattern. The pattern of mediocrity. Once we say that the people around us are simply too much of an 'a--hole' to mix around, then, we are assholes ourselves. But, we won't know that, not yet, we won't. It's probably going to come down to the moment when we actually hurt other people's feelings by describing them as 'shameless mediocre people'.


Might have used 'mediocre' too much, huh? The point is, why must there be mediocrity? Why are we 'entrusted' with the sense of weakness? No, not right; temporary weakness. Oh, hold it right there. Temporary, eh? Now, I'll tell you why. Because, for the most parts of our lives, we'll be living in a state of wanting to achieve something. And, when we do, it's time for us to step into a lull of mediocrity. You know... just to even things out, of course.


I guess, mediocrity is just an essential part of life.

Feeling Like God

Yeah, GOD.


Is there even a god? OKAY, stop right there. I'm not going into that now. What I'll be getting into is...


Just when when we thought we know it all, life smacks us in the face. How? Simply by giving us a bloody situation. By bloody, I mean shit. Crap. Hallelujah. Real dreadful incident which would seriously give a bad, bad, bad experience. Can't picture it? That's okay. Just tell me when you feel it.


See, I thought it was complacency. But, then again, my severe ego proved yet again to be my alter ego. (What the hell did that mean?) Try as I did, I was still living in a world of my own. I.e. being a ass**** to people, doing badly in what I do (work), and worst of all, disappointing myself.


Rejoice, though. For everything fades, of course. Where there's pessimism, there is optimism. I'm pretty sure, that I can get rid of my cockiness. (Oh, the irony.) Anyway, based on the -incredulous- phrase, we are all EQUAL. Anyone can manage his or her arrogance. Just try.

Balancing the Unbalanced

They say to get the most the out of life, we must live a balanced lifestyle. Yeah... as if.


How many of us can actually manage a 'balanced' lifestyle? We try to get the most out of the good and bad of life, but in the end, we have to ask ourselves, is it actually worth our time? Why are we even trying to be balanced? Not focused on what we love doing? Examples: Relationships, sports, our even, work?


We'll get balanced anyway, ladies and gentlemen. Whatever happens, there is always something called 'the flow'. Whether we like it or not, believe it or not, there is a path where everything in life (or death) is balanced by hook or by crook. So, bye-bye, excessive chocolate-munching, over-healthy diet, and trying to love our wives and husbands so much. Because, what matters most is doing the right thing.


Yep, THE RIGHT THING.

Decison Making? Maybe...

It's kind of devastating to find that after all this time what we've been doing has just been a waste of time. Sometimes, we don't realize what we're doing, and we just DO it.


But, by just doing it, we are forced with the fact that we may be right or wrong. What if we fail in something? What if we succeed? This really screws. How can we actually make a decision when we are pressed with questions like these? There are times, when we make tough verdicts and that's PROBABLY the times when we 'become a man'.


Why probably? Well, we can be wrong. Doing something without hesitation may lead us into a trap. We may seem assured at first that we are taking the right step, but give a second thought, and we are like, "Hey, I might be regretting that one in the future."


The point? To hell with it, if we want to do something, we are entitled to it. We deserve the goddamn right to do something, for better or for worse. Now, that's what I call ass-whopping.
