That can mean many things. Finally, you did something or finally, you didn't do something. OR finally, finally!
That's exactly what I mean by being relieved. Could you imagine feeling ever so good about something? Fine, not 'good'. But, relieved. Free-minded-like. For instance, after going through hell, you finally arrived at the point where you can truthfully say, finally! F***ing finally.
Pardon me. No, you know what, to hell with it, no 'pardon me' or anything of that sort. We deserve to say "finally". We deserve the goddamn right to feel some sort of self-appreciative feeling. Hmm. Or do we?
Right, believe or not, we never do realize the gravity of something till we actually feel the effects of it. That 'something' can be anything, from washing your car, working in the office to maybe more unorthodox deeds like slapping someone or lambasting somebody in the face. No really, deny it, sure... but looking back, you'll know that you had no idea what you were in for.
That is of course to say, one helluva ride. Alright, alright, you had a doubts on whether it was all worth it. Hell, you wanted to quit. Well, rejoice. Finally. It's all over.
No, of course it ain't over. You kiddin'? It's never over.
"Finally," so a retired Steve Jobs said. |
