Do we want to make a difference?
By the looks of things, it seems that things look different. It's as if somehow, there is a certain kind feeling of impending dread. Dread? Why dread?
But, inevitably, there is no escaping whatever lies ahead. Is it something that will change you as a person? If so, why so dramatic? Because we are ingrained with a sense of wanting to proof to ourselves that we are not weak fools, we tend to go for the spectacular. Well, not much of a spectacle, but more of a way for saying, "I'm best of the lot because I'm way off the track."
Cute. But no different from the status quo? |
Proving. To take a step into the wilderness. Into the uncommon ground. Why do we always attempt to prove something, even if we are so, so out of our depth? Well, like I said, we are animals. We take challenges to our hearts, not wanting to back down whatsoever.
Truth be told that we jest, lie, avoid, pretend or detract.
That does not mean we have to settle for something less. Or something better, at that. There is no difference, if we can help it. We want to make it a difference so that there is always something out there which we can change or at least make a dent to it (to quote Jobs). But hey, at some point, we would probably -no, definitely- ask ourselves, why should am I doing this?
Simple: to make a difference, right? Seeing that your mind is already made up, there is no reason not to move forwards, that is to tread down the path of no return!
